Water circuit

An under-floor circuit heated by circulating water opens a door to various options, when it comes to the choice of heat source:

R

Solar energy

R

Air-to-water or ground source heat pumps

R

Wood burning stoves with water circuit

R

Fuel oil and gas boilers

R

Electric boilers

R

Biomass boilers

R

And combinations of above

New technology with circuits of high density cross-linked polyethylene pipes makes this a very safe and practical option for home heating. Each room has its own circuit(s) and the temperature is regulated via a programmable thermostat. A comfortable temperature zone is precisely where you need it and is evenly spread out throughout the room, also perfect for rooms with high ceilings. As the floor surface is one large “radiator” the operating temperature can be kept much lower than in conventional heaters.  Important savings in energy consumption turns into an extra benefit to the comfort achieved.

Discrete an unobtrusive: no fans, no visible heaters.

With a top quality insulation installed underneath the tubes the heat will be stored in the screed of concrete and in the tiling on top, and this, together with the low flow temperature makes it perfect for the use of solar energy.

In the summer, cool water can be circulated through the floor pipes to provide soft and silent cooling without any chill effect.
